New York Jets

New York Jets Logo

The New York Jets were founded in 1959 and played their first season in 1960 in the AFL. The Jets are one of two teams to win their single appearance in the Super Bowl (Saints) providing endless loser fodder to shared stadium tenants the New York Giants.

Even with the Super Bowl III in 1968 victory led by Broadway Joe Namath over the heavily favored Baltimore Colts, they are one of four teams to never win an AFC Championship.

Only two teams have a longer Super Bowl drought than the Jets – The Lions and Browns.

New York Jets Stadium: MetLife Stadium
New York Jets Logo: a horizontal green football-shaped oval outlined in white with the word “JETS” in italics positioned below with “NEW YORK” above it.
New York Jets Colors: Gotham green, spotlight white, stealth black.
New York Jets Mascot: No mascot. #SAD

by Paul Eide

Calvin Pace

Calvin Pace’s looming size (6-4, 270) and quick feet (4.6 in the 40) make him the prototypical OLB in a 3-4 defensive scheme, though it took his former employer five years and three head coaches to finally figure it out.
