DeMarco Murray helps a bro in need by giving the gift of Old Spice. Is that the Unabomber? Talk about a “Photobomb”. #ZING

Think of Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray as an older brother. An older brother that you’ve never met who made the Pro Bowl and scored the game winning TUD. An older brother that you’ve never met who, curiously, cares about the way you wash your body.

But it isn’t just DeMarco who cares about your body. You’ve got another older brother you have never met, who is a robot.

A robot who scores with hot babes all the time.

It’s plain to see that your mom got around, but what’s really significant is that both DeMarco and the robot want you to use Old Spice.

They both want you to “smell like a man from head to toes.” And why wouldn’t you?

We asked your older brother DeMarco Murray about Old Spice, Robocop, his career thus far, and the upcoming Cowboys 2014 season.

Are you hanging out with the new Old Spice robot as we speak?

DeMarco Murray: “No but I wish I was; he’s my robotic friend. Later on I get to hang out and have dinner with him. He’s still sleeping from last night.”

Well according to these new ads, he picks up all the hot babes.

DeMarco Murray: “He does! That’s the guy to be around.”

Speaking of robots, who would win in a fight between him, Robocop and the Terminator from Terminator 2?

DeMarco Murray: “Old Spice robot man, of course.”

That was a trick question, I thought I could get you! You’re entering your fourth year in the NFL, but doesn’t it feel like its been longer than that?

DeMarco Murray: “No, actually it feels like time has flown by. I’m still excited and happy to be with the Cowboys and for hopefully a few more years.

In the 2011 NFL Draft, you were the sixth running back taken. Going into a week seven game against the Rams that season, you rushed for a franchise record 253 yards in a game you didn’t even start. Talk about your progression up to that point and the game itself.

DeMarco Murray: “I was given the opportunity to play because a couple of guys got banged up. And I was fortunate to have the game that I had. I never thought in a million years that I’d ever have a day like that. But, I knew my time would come so I made sure I was prepared to make the next step. Once I got the opportunity I never looked back.”

That is the 9th best rushing performance in NFL history. What does that feel like when it’s done, and also when it’s happening? Is it a “zone” like scenario or feeling?

DeMarco Murray: “You’re aware of it, but you try not to pay attention to it. You just have to play as hard as you can, the best you can, at any given moment.”

Dallas will always be high profile, especially with the offensive firepower of Tony Romo, Dez Bryant and Jason Witten. Are all those guys Old Spiced-up like you are, from head to toe?

They are. They’ve definitely got the “Swagger” scent from Old Spice. I got a big shipment for the entire offensive line. They usually only shower with just water, so I had to get them some Old Spice shampoo, deodorant body wash, gotta do it all.”

“If that robot, the Old Spice robot – I feel bad calling him that. Does he have a name?”

“Does he have a name? I don’t know if he has a name. (laughing) I’m not sure – maybe just ‘Swag.'”

I like it! What position would Swag play for the Cowboys – maybe right tackle?

“He wouldn’t play, he’d coach. He’d be WAY too fresh to be out there playing.”

In the Pro Bowl this past year, which was awesome to watch, you scored the game winning TUD. It was unlike any Pro Bowl game I’d watched in the last 20 years because there was hitting; teammates were hitting teammates! Did you guys talk about that before the game, or how did it turn into an actual football game?

“No. You know it’s a game. Early on, guys were having fun. But when it got down to the nitty gritty, guys were playing hard. The competitive nature comes out and guys want to compete and win. It was definitely a fun game, great atmosphere and I had a great time.”

With Scott Linehan joining the offensive coaching staff alongside Jason Garrett,  Bill Callahan and of course, Jerry Jones, are there too many cooks in the kitchen?

DeMarco Murray: “Not at all. I think the more experienced coaches, those guys are all wise, they all bring different things to the table. They have a lot of knowledge and they are a bunch of smart, determined guys who want to be the best and win games.”

Is there any such thing as too much swagger as far as Old Spice is concerned?

“No – there’s never enough.”

What would you say to the kids if you could say anything to them right now?

DeMarco Murray: “Make sure you work hard and after you work hard, make sure you jump in the shower and use Old Spice deodorant, body wash and body spray.”
